The Texas Transit Association (TTA) is excited to announce the dates for our 2026 State Annual Conference, Expo, and Roadeo! Mark your calendars because you don’t want to miss timely general sessions, in-depth breakout sessions, and training, along with plenty of networking opportunities with your friends and colleagues from across the transit industry. Help us celebrate two great milestones, TTA’s 40th anniversary and Citibus' 50th anniversary. Two great milestones at one can’t-miss event!
Conference
The 2026 TTA Annual Conference is an exciting and enriching event for transit professionals across the state. The conference features dynamic general sessions, including keynote speakers who will challenge perspectives and spark innovation. There will also be numerous breakout sessions offering attendees valuable insights, fresh ideas, and practical strategies that can be applied within their agencies. As an extra highlight: TxDOT will host its Semiannual Operators’ meeting on Friday, May 1, 2026.
Networking Events:
The conference kicks off on Tuesday, April 28, with a relaxing welcome reception. On Thursday, April 30th, CitiBus will host a Big Night Out to remember! For those staying for the Roadeo, you won't want to miss Lubbock’s First Friday Art Trail. This is a free, self-guided public art event that brings together collectors, artists, and community friends for an evening of art, music, and fun.

In celebration of our 40th Anniversary, the Texas Transit Association (TTA) will produce a one-time special commemorative publication highlighting four decades of progress, innovation, and impact in public transportation across Texas.

Expo
The Expo Hall is expected to sell out, and you don't want to miss out on participating in this year's Conference, Expo, and Roadeo in beautiful Lubbock!
TTA will host its second annual Mini Golf Tournament during the Expo. This event brings together transit professionals, agency leaders, policymakers, and industry partners from across the state.
State Roadeo
The 2026 State Roadeo is an opportunity to honor and showcase the exceptional skills of transit operators and maintenance teams. The competition will be held on May 1 and 2, 2026, featuring 40 ft, 35 ft, van/paratransit divisions, and Maintenance Teams.
