The 2027 State Roadeo is an opportunity to honor and showcase the exceptional skills of transit operators and maintenance teams. The competition will be held on February 19 and 20, 2027, featuring divisions for 40 ft, 35 ft, van/paratransit, and Maintenance Teams.
The TTA State Roadeo is an opportunity to honor and showcase the exceptional skills of transit operators and maintenance teams, who are the heart of our transit systems. This thrilling competition brings together the best operators/maintenance teams from across the state to demonstrate their expertise, precision, and dedication to safe operations and passenger care.
Drivers will compete in challenging courses designed to test their skills at every level, with a strong emphasis on safety, maneuverability, and customer service.

- 40 ft
- 35 ft
- Paratransit/Van
- Maintenance Team (Heavy)
- Paratransit Maintenance Team (New Category)
Roadeo Registration Rates
Roadeo Operator
Registration for driver competition in 40ft, 35ft, or paratransit/van categories.
Registration includes:
- (1) Roadeo registration
- (1) Lunch Ticket
- (1) Awards Banquet Ticket
- (1) Roadeo T-Shirt
* One for each category.
Registration fee: $300
Maintenance Team (Heavy) Competition
Registration for a team of four. Three team members and one coach.
Registration includes:
- (4) Roadeo registration
- (4) Lunch Ticket
- (4) Awards Banquet Ticket
- (4) Roadeo T-Shirt
* One for each team member/coach.
Registration fee: $750
Paratransit Maintenance Team Competition
Registration for a team of two. Two team members only
Registration includes:
- (2) Roadeo registration
- (2) Lunch Ticket
- (2) Awards Banquet Ticket
- (2) Roadeo T-Shirt
* One for each team member.
Registration fee: $550
* All guests and family members are required to purchase tickets, and availability is limited. Roadeo registration doesn't include the conference or expo.
Volunteer to Judge
You can participate in the Roadeo even if you aren't a driver! Please help us by volunteering for the various scoring elements around the competition site on Saturday, February 20th. All judges will need to attend the briefings on Friday, February 19th. Judges will receive a T-shirt and lunch during the Roadeo.
Important Note: Anyone wishing to attend the Roadeo Award Banquet will need to purchase a ticket. Tickets are $75
Family & Guest Ticket Rates
Roadeo Awards Banquet
The Roadeo Awards Banquet is an evening dedicated to celebrating the incredible competitors and their achievements. All guests and family members are required to purchase tickets, and availability is limited. Tickets sell out quickly! Operators and Maintenance competitors receive a complimentary ticket to this special event.
Banquet ticket includes:
- (1) Ticket Entry to Roadeo Awards Banquet
* Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Ticket fee: $75.
The Awards Banquet will take place in the evening on May 2, 2026
Roadeo Spectator Ticket
Spectators Welcome! Come cheer on your favorite drivers as they navigate the course, enjoy the excitement, and support your transit heroes. All guests and family members are required to purchase a lunch ticket, and availability is limited. Operators/Maintenance competitors and judge/volunteers receive a complimentary ticket.
Spectator ticket includes:
- (1) Roadeo Lunch Ticket
* Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Lunch Ticket fee: $25
